Those of you who have visited us before may remember the big black bull called Goliath. His first calf has now been born - it is a little boy called Eldrick who looks very like his dad did as a calf. Our first calves by our other black bull, Q-bec, have also now been born; 2 girls and 1 boy to date.
Also we now have our first baby Dexter (these are the very short black cows that live in the field around the cottage). It is a little girl called Rosie and is one of the cutest calves I've ever seen. She likes running around with her tail straight in the air and was the same height as Paul's wellies when she was born. The second is due any day.
