Our last calves for this year have now been born, 4 boys and 1 girl. All of them are red Aberdeen Angus calves and they are the colour of gingernuts. They spend half their time running around the field with their tails in the air!
The weather here has been very dry for the last month and the ground is now really hard which makes a pleasant change after the mud of the summer. The maize has now been harvested and all is now set for the winter - though hopefully it won't arrive any time soon!
