The weather is definitely improving and the mud has nearly gone! There are even combines out in the fields on the other side of the valley. All our straw for the winter will be arriving shortly which means summer must be here!
We have even managed to go on holiday ourselves for a week and have come back refreshed and ready for anything.
We will be out showing the Angus cattle again next week at The Monmouth show - Geraldine and her calf Georgie are going to bathed and brushed once more (much to their disapproval!!) and sent into the show ring.
Our next group of calves are due to be born in early September - they are all red Angus this time, just like Leith who was born in June (this photo was taken several days after he was born).
