My family and I stayed at the Cider House, Dymock over Christmas 2011. Kirsty & Paul made us very welcome, the cottage was very well equipped, homely and the christmas tree & decs made it just that more special. My 4 grandchildren absolutely loved it, not only was it a special time for us all to be together they enjoyed being on a farm and seeing the animals everyday, especial the new additions, 2 glos old spot pigs and the new kittens! Thank you Kirsty & Paul once again, and we will most certainly be back for another visit.

We thought the place was fantastic, we had everything we needed and the welcome pack you provided was very generous. Also enjoyed living on a farm for the weekend, the visit by Spot the dog on Friday evening and also Katie the very friendly calf who made friends with one of the girls, aptly named Kate!

We were very impressed by the amount of space we had, especially for 5 girls, would definately recommend to anyone who wants a break in the Cotswolds on a real farm.

My wife and I were looking for a quiet place in the English countryside. We found The Cider House on the internet, and we knew at once, this is our place. We did not regret the choice. Our daily walks in the English countryside did us good. We had quiet evenings in the lovely Cider House. Being from Norway, this is a kind of house we only get to experience through TV. We really recommend this house for everyone who is looking for tranquility.

Many thanks to Paul and Kirsten for making us so welcome at the farm. The cottage has been really well thought through for guests and includes toys and games which were greatly appreciated by our 4 year old boy who also thought Christmas had come early when he got to ride on the big green tractor with Paul. The village pub has a great garden which was very welcoming to smaller visitors and the playground was also a big hit. We were blessed with very good weather and enjoyed sitting in the garden taking in the great views as well as listening to the cows munching away in the adjoining feld. We were able to visit lots of friends around and about in Wales, Malvern and Oxfordshire, and hope to come again....

A great place that suited us exuisitely, and in one of the most beautiful spots in England.

The little touches to welcome us were very kind - fabulous, thank you!

A spacious, well-planned barn conversion with views of the Malverns to the north, and May Hill but a short drive (a more ambitious walk) to the south west. On this working farm, Kirsten and Paul ensure the warmest of welcomes while Goliath, an impossibly friendly one tonne bull, keeps good and cheery order. An ideal spot for walking, unwinding or learning more about the Dymock Poets in this attractive corner of north-west Gloucestershire. Much recommended.

We had a fabulous holiday (albeit brief|) in this wonderful cottage. A perfect place to stay with 3 very young children- the accommodation was extremely comfortable and space for all of us. I cannot wait to return Kirsty!

We had an excellent long weekend in this charming, romantic cottage with all the authentic brick and timber. Excellent views over the Malverns, and set on a real working beef farm! Well worth the time to relax.
